A switch to a differently priced product requires a case-specific agreement because SEWARD’s published policy does not define cross-price exchanges.
Do not assume a cross-price exchange is available
SEWARD’s current Refunds & Returns policy describes two possible resolutions for an eligible issue: replacement with the same item when available or a refund to the original payment method. It does not establish a standard service for exchanging the order for a different, differently priced product. It therefore provides no automatic rule for calculating a surcharge or credit from the original price, current price, or promotional price.
A request for another product should be treated as a proposed individual arrangement until SEWARD expressly confirms that it is accepted. The existence of a suitable product on the website does not establish its availability for a replacement case.
Get every amount confirmed together
Before agreeing, ask for written confirmation of the exact substitute product, its current availability, the price used for the calculation, the amount of any additional payment or refund, the currency, and any return or reshipment cost. The confirmation should also state whether the original item must be returned and whether the new product will be dispatched before or after that step.
When a defect or incorrect shipment is SEWARD’s error, the published policy says SEWARD covers reasonable return or reshipment costs or may offer a solution without a return. That provision does not by itself define the financial terms of changing to a different product.
Use only verified payment instructions
Do not send an extra payment merely because a price difference appears obvious. SEWARD’s Help Desk directs customers to follow only payment instructions associated with the order and warns against sending money through an unverified separate request. If a new payment step is proposed, verify it through SEWARD and use the confirmed method. Never send full card details, a security code, banking passwords, or one-time verification codes by email or chat.
If no cross-price arrangement is approved, rely on the documented case resolution: an available same-item replacement or an approved refund to the original payment method. Keep the written agreement and transaction record so the agreed amounts can be checked later.
