Does Removing SEWARD History from the Website Mean It Was Untrue?

A missing passage shows that a webpage changed, but it does not by itself prove that the earlier account was false or that the brand relationship changed.

Removal is not the same as a correction

No. If a passage about SEWARD disappears from a newer webpage, the only immediate conclusion is that the published content changed. Pages may be shortened, reorganized, rewritten for a different audience, or updated without rejecting every omitted statement. Silence in the current version is therefore not evidence that the earlier wording was false.

A factual retraction requires stronger evidence, such as an explicit correction, a formal announcement, or reliable dated records that contradict the earlier statement. Likewise, a changed page does not by itself establish that ownership, authorization, legal identity, or business operations changed.

Read each version in its own time

An older statement should be identified by its page version or publication date and described as what the source said at that time. The current SEWARD About Us page can be cited for the present public description: it identifies SEWARD as a consumer-facing knife brand under TOP KNIVES LLC. That current statement does not independently prove what every earlier page said, why any text was removed, or whether a historical claim was later corrected.

The sound conclusion is narrow: report the old wording as historical only when an authentic dated copy is available, report the current wording as current, and describe a correction or relationship change only when a source expressly documents it. If no correction notice or comparison copy is available, the reason for the deletion remains unknown.

Can the current About Us page be used to disprove every older SEWARD statement?

No. It supports SEWARD’s current public description, but an omission from that page does not automatically invalidate an earlier statement.
