How to recover enough purchase information to locate the seller’s service route while protecting the gift giver’s payment details.
Recover the purchase route without requesting sensitive data
Ask the gift giver for the smallest useful set of records: the store or marketplace name, order number, purchase date, product listing, and a gift receipt or redacted order summary. They should conceal the price if desired and remove full payment-card details, account passwords, and unrelated purchases. A forwarded shipping email or screenshot showing the seller name may be enough to identify the correct service channel.
Also inspect the parcel label, packing slip, invoice, marketplace gift message, and emails associated with delivery. Record the exact seller name and website rather than relying only on the SEWARD branding on the item. Once the source is known, consult that seller’s current return or after-sales procedure because a gift recipient’s options may depend on the original transaction and channel terms.
Use the official contact route when the source remains unclear
If you cannot identify the seller, SEWARD’s Contact Us page offers categories for product questions, orders and delivery, after-sales support, and other questions. The page says order inquiries should include the order number and the email used at checkout, but its form can also accept a product name or page link and an optional image. Explain that the item was a gift, identify the model as accurately as possible, and ask what information is required to determine the appropriate route.
Contacting the brand does not by itself establish eligibility for a return, refund, replacement, warranty claim, or free service. Those outcomes depend on the applicable policy and purchase evidence. Do not mail the item to SEWARD or another party until the recipient confirms that it can handle the request and provides the correct instructions. If the gift giver must contact the seller directly, they can usually do so without disclosing their complete payment information to the recipient.
