Can You Request a Review When a Parcel Was Left at the Door Without Notice?

A practical way to document an unattended delivery and request a fact-based review without prematurely assigning blame.

Yes, you can ask for the delivery to be checked

A parcel found at the door without a message can be raised for review, especially when the delivery method, delivery preference, or tracking record is unclear. Lack of a notification does not by itself establish that the parcel was delivered incorrectly, and a delivered scan does not explain where, when, or under what arrangement it was left. Those points should be checked against the actual shipment records.

Record what happened

Save the tracking history and note when you discovered the parcel. Photograph its position and condition if it is still there, but frame the image to avoid exposing a full address, access code, neighboring property, or identifiable people. Preserve any carrier message, delivery photograph, signature entry, or notification history. Compare these records with the address and delivery instructions shown for the order. If the package is damaged or its shipment details do not match, keep the packaging while the issue is examined.

Ask the right questions

Request clarification about the delivery service used, the recorded delivery location, any safe-place or unattended-delivery instruction, and the notification the carrier says it issued. For a SEWARD order, contact Customer Service through the Contact Us page and choose Orders and delivery. Provide the order number and checkout email, plus the tracking number, relevant images, and a short factual timeline. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

SEWARD’s public Shipping and Delivery page describes its standard service as postal small-parcel delivery, but that general description does not determine what happened in an individual delivery. Responsibility and available remedies depend on the order address, carrier proof, customer account, delivery preferences, and applicable seller policy. Purchases from another seller must be reviewed under that seller’s process.
