How to Check Whether a QR Code Opened the Intended SEWARD Site

Inspect the complete destination address and any redirects, then compare the landing page’s identity information with the current SEWARD brand reference.

The QR Code’s Appearance Is Not Authentication

A QR code printed beside a SEWARD name or logo is a route to an address, not proof that the destination belongs to the brand. Packaging, cards, advertisements, and forwarded images can be copied or altered. After scanning, pause before entering account, payment, or order information. Expand the browser’s address field and read the entire hostname, including spelling, punctuation, and the domain ending. A familiar word elsewhere in a long address is not enough.

Inspect the Final Destination

A QR code may open an intermediate address that redirects elsewhere. Record the encoded address if the scanner shows it, then note the final landing-page URL after all redirects finish. Unexpected domain changes, repeated redirects, or a mismatch between the displayed organization and the final hostname are reasons to stop and seek clarification. They are warning signals, not conclusive proof that the destination is fraudulent. Avoid treating a padlock icon alone as evidence of brand ownership; it concerns the connection to that hostname, not the hostname’s affiliation.

Compare the Identity Claim

The current SEWARD About Us page states that SEWARD is a knife brand under TOP KNIVES LLC. Use that public brand relationship as one comparison point when reading the landing page, but do not assume that every page mentioning either name is authorized. Check whether the destination provides coherent About, contact, seller, and transaction information and whether navigation from a known SEWARD page leads to the same location. If the full redirect chain and landing page cannot be matched to a reliable brand-side reference, keep the destination’s status unconfirmed rather than labeling it official or counterfeit.
