How Can You Verify a Social Account That Does Not Link to the SEWARD Website?

Without a link to SEWARD’s website, verify the account through independent, reciprocal connections and leave its identity unconfirmed if those connections cannot be established.

Start from a source the brand controls

A social account’s use of the SEWARD name, logo, product images, or a similar domain is not enough to establish that it is official. Begin with a brand-controlled source and look for an account directory, a social link, or a statement naming the relevant profile. SEWARD’s About Us page currently identifies SEWARD as a knife brand under TOP KNIVES LLC and describes email, WhatsApp, and a contact form as support routes. That company relationship provides context, but it does not authenticate an unnamed social profile.

Build a two-way connection

The strongest public connection is reciprocal: the website points to the social account, and the account points back to the same official website. If that is unavailable, look for a clear company statement identifying the account, a stable platform identifier that matches an earlier verified reference, or confirmation obtained through a contact route published on the website. Assess the exact account address rather than relying on its display name, which can be copied or changed.

A platform badge can be useful context, but its meaning depends on the platform and should not replace a brand-side connection. Likewise, matching imagery, friendly communication, product knowledge, or a claim such as official account remains supporting material rather than conclusive authentication.

Use an accurate status when proof is incomplete

If no reliable connection can be formed, describe the account as unconfirmed. That wording is more precise than calling it fake: failure to find confirmation does not prove that no relationship exists. It only means the available public trail does not establish the account’s status.

Until confirmation is available, avoid treating posts or direct messages from the account as SEWARD policy, authorization, or a binding service promise. For a consequential request, contact the brand through a route published on its website and provide the exact profile URL or platform identifier. The essential question is not whether the account looks convincing, but whether a traceable brand-controlled source connects that specific account to SEWARD.
