Learn how to distinguish an error page, a payment event, and a confirmed SEWARD order without creating a duplicate transaction.
Do not submit the order again immediately
An error after submission does not establish whether the order succeeded or failed. Save a screenshot of the error, note the approximate time, and record which checkout and payment method you used. Then check the original order channel for an order number, order record, confirmation page, or confirmation email. Look in spam or junk folders as well.
Avoid refreshing the payment step repeatedly, paying again, or creating a replacement order while the first attempt remains unclear. SEWARD’s Help Desk warns that repeated payments or orders can create duplicate charges or duplicate orders.
Check the order and payment separately
Compare the order record with your bank or payment-provider activity. A debit may be a completed charge or only a pending authorization, so a payment notification alone should not be treated as proof that an order was accepted. Likewise, an order acknowledgment does not mean that the parcel has been dispatched.
If an order record exists, note its number and displayed payment status. If no order appears but a payment entry exists, ask the payment provider what kind of entry it is, but leave confirmation of the actual order to the seller.
Ask SEWARD to verify the transaction
Contact SEWARD through the Contact Us page and provide the checkout email, any order number, the transaction time, amount, currency, and exact error message. A redacted receipt or screenshot may help, but hide full card or account numbers, security codes, passwords, one-time codes, balances, and unrelated transactions.
Wait for SEWARD to check the order and payment together before trying again. The correct outcome may be a valid order, an incomplete payment, a pending authorization, or no generated order; only the relevant records can resolve which applies.
