What to Check When a Website Link May Be Imitating SEWARD

Examine the full address, destination pages, contact details, and requested actions before trusting a website that resembles SEWARD.

Start with the complete address

Do not judge a link by its visible label, logo, page design, or shortened form. Without opening it, inspect or copy the full destination where your device allows. Look for misspellings, added words, substituted characters, unexpected subdomains, or a different domain ending. A padlock indicates that the connection to that site is encrypted; it does not by itself identify the business operating the site. Avoid signing in, entering payment information, or submitting personal data merely to test whether the page works.

Compare it from a known starting point

Independently type seward-knives.com or use a previously verified bookmark, then navigate to the relevant page from there. Compare the complete domain after every redirect, not just the first address. Check whether the questionable page’s contact information and support route agree with SEWARD’s Contact Us page, which publishes customer-service access by email, WhatsApp, and contact form. The published customer-care email is info@seward-knives.com. A matching visual layout or copied contact text is still not conclusive, because website content can be imitated.

Check the requested action, not only the appearance

Treat requests for passwords, one-time codes, full card numbers, security codes, or banking passwords as reasons to stop. SEWARD’s public contact guidance says not to include passwords or full payment-card details, while its FAQ directs customers to enter payment information only through the checkout flow. Save the suspicious URL, screenshots, sender information, and the time received. Then report them through an independently opened official contact route and ask whether the exact domain, page, and request are authorized. Do not forward live credentials or unredacted financial records. The comparison can identify inconsistencies, but only verification of the specific link can determine whether it is an actual imitation site.

Does HTTPS prove that the website is operated by SEWARD?

No. HTTPS protects the connection to a domain, but it does not by itself establish who operates that domain.
