How to provide focused, verifiable records when your received quantity differs from the seller’s shipment account.
Define the exact disagreement
Reply with a simple comparison for every disputed line: the item and quantity shown in the order, the quantity actually received, and the difference. Also state how many parcels arrived and whether the order or tracking information indicated separate shipments. This distinguishes a genuinely missing unit from an item that may have been assigned to another parcel.
A statement that the dispatched quantity was correct describes the seller’s records; it does not, by itself, establish what arrived inside your parcel. Your response should focus on records that allow the two accounts to be compared. SEWARD’s Shipping and Delivery page advises customers to compare the parcel with its shipment details and retain the packaging when something requires checking.
Add evidence tied to the parcel
Provide photographs of every side of the outer package, the complete shipping label, visible package identifiers, seals or damaged areas, the inner packing materials, and all contents received. If you still have the package, keep it and state whether it appeared sealed, opened, torn or re-taped on arrival. Include the delivery date and any existing photographs taken when the parcel was first opened. If no opening photographs or video exist, say that plainly; do not recreate or describe evidence you do not have.
Send the order number and checkout email through a SEWARD order or after-sales contact channel. Organize each attachment with a short description so that relevant images are not buried among duplicates. Ask the seller to compare your evidence with the order details and any separate-parcel records, then identify the specific quantity or parcel that remains disputed. Do not return anything before receiving instructions. The additional material supports a review but does not predetermine a refund, replacement or other outcome. Orders placed with a third party remain subject to that seller’s applicable process.
