How a Family Member Can Discuss After-Sales Support Without Sharing Passwords

Use a limited authorization and necessary order references instead of giving a family member account credentials or verification codes.

Keep control of the account

A family member helping with after-sales communication should not receive the customer’s password, one-time verification code, full payment-card information, or access to an authenticated account. SEWARD’s Privacy Policy says account credentials should be kept private, while the Contact Us page tells users not to include passwords or full payment-card details in a message. A helper should also avoid presenting themselves as the purchaser if they are not.

Ask whether representation is accepted

Before sharing order details, contact the actual seller through its verified support channel and ask whether it permits a family member to communicate on the purchaser’s behalf. For an order bought from SEWARD’s storefront, the official Contact Us page can be used for after-sales support. If the item came from an independent seller, that seller may have a different authorization and verification process.

A useful authorization message can come from the purchaser’s own order email address. It can identify the order number, name the family member, describe the limited matter they may discuss, and state how long the authorization should apply. Share only information necessary to locate the case and explain the issue.

Let support define verification

SEWARD says account and message information helps identify an account or order and answer a request. Its policy also says proportionate verification may be needed before information is disclosed or changed, and advises against sending identity documents unless a verified support process asks for them. Therefore, the family member should wait for official instructions instead of attempting to bypass verification.

The public pages do not establish that every representative will be accepted or specify a standard authorization form. Approval, accessible information, and any further verification depend on the seller’s actual process and the circumstances of the case.
