A cautious way to document moisture marks, limit unnecessary handling, and report the condition of a SEWARD parcel.
Document the condition first
Before cleaning, drying, or discarding anything, photograph the parcel as received. Take an overall view and closer images of every damp, stained, softened, torn, or discolored area. Include the shipping label and sealing points, but do not expose private address details when sharing photographs publicly. If the contents are already visible and can be observed safely, record their condition and their position inside the package without rearranging them merely to create a clearer image.
Avoid making the situation worse
Limit unnecessary handling when the source of the moisture is unknown. Do not test, wipe, heat, repair, or use an affected item simply to determine whether it still works. If the package appears unsafe to touch or open, stop handling it and seek appropriate local safety guidance. Otherwise, place it in a stable location where any moisture will not spread to other property, while preserving the package and its contents for review. SEWARD’s Shipping and Delivery page tells customers to compare an arriving parcel with its shipment details and keep the packaging when something needs checking.
Send a factual report
For a SEWARD order, report what you can actually see: where the moisture appears, whether the outer package or contents are affected, when the parcel arrived, and whether you opened or moved anything. Include the order number and the email used at checkout, as requested on SEWARD’s Contact Us page. Its inquiry form allows an optional JPG or PNG photograph up to 5 MB. Ask Customer Service how the package should be preserved and whether any return is required; the same page says to contact SEWARD before returning an item. Do not dispose of or mail the package until the receiving party confirms the next step.
